About The Position

WHIP MEDIA IS TRANSFORMING HOW THE WORLD’S LARGEST MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT COMPANIES MANAGE, DISTRIBUTE, AND MONETIZE CONTENT ACROSS THE GLOBAL STREAMING SUPPLY CHAIN. OUR FLAGSHIP PRODUCT, HELIX, IS AN AI-NATIVE SYSTEM DESIGNED TO RADICALLY OPTIMIZE CONTENT OPERATIONS — ENABLING DATA-DRIVEN DECISIONS THAT MAXIMIZE REVENUE, STREAMLINE DISTRIBUTION, AND SCALE PROFITABLE STRATEGIES. TRUSTED BY TOP STUDIOS, NETWORKS, AND STREAMING PLATFORMS, WE SIT AT THE INTERSECTION OF MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY, REDEFINING THE BUSINESS OF CONTENT. ABOUT HELIX: Helix is our next-generation system built with long-term scale, efficiency, and operational excellence in mind. We’re rebuilding core capabilities the right way: stable foundations first, automation and self-service second, shared services third. The Platform team builds the reusable infrastructure, patterns, and tooling that every Helix service depends on. THE ROLE: As a Senior Software Engineer on the Helix Platform team, you will build and operate the foundational services, tooling, and patterns used across the Helix ecosystem. You’ll work heavily in Go, build gRPC + REST APIs, design multi-tenant data models in PostgreSQL (JSONB included), and ship production workloads on Kubernetes (EKS) using Helm + GitHub Actions. This role is ideal for someone who loves both shipping features and strengthening the platform underneath them, performance, reliability, security, operability, and clean developer experience. This is a remote role based in Los Angeles or New York City.
