About The Position

The Web Platform group focuses on optimizing the product development lifecycle to scale the business and deliver value. The Core Data team, a high-trust team valuing predictable commitments, self-accountability, and results, is specifically tasked with maximizing customer benefit from billions of daily security observations. This involves collaborating with Data Science and Data Collection teams to integrate new data sources and optimizing data processing and storage to enable real-time data analytics. Bitsight is looking for a skilled, team-oriented, results-focused, communicative, experienced, and mediating developer to support the team as a driver of change.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer building and maintaining a customer-facing SaaS application
  • Experience with Airflow or other data processing workflow tooling
  • Experience with public cloud platforms and containers, such as AWS and Kubernetes
  • Experience working with a team of engineers, and product owners in delivering a product to end-users

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with our tech stack: Python, Postgres, Airflow, FastAPI, Django
  • Experience in Agile software development and delivery in a SaaS environment
  • Knowledge of microservices architectures, APIs, and related technologies
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity or information security
  • Clear concise writer and presenter
