Walmart/VIZIO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the delivery of scalable, secure software solutions through collaborative engineering teams. This role involves managing the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and ongoing support of services, APIs, database components. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS, or MS in Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5-7 years of development experience.
Expert experience with .NET and C#
Expert ability to troubleshoot, debug, and performance tune software code.
Experience working with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL)
Experience working with non-relational databases (Mongo, DocumentDB, Dynamo, Redis, ElasticSearch)
Experience building internal tooling to manage backend services using Angular
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a lead position, respecting and welcoming ideas from partners, business stakeholders, and technical experts.
Excellent communications skills: must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and able to adapt to the level and nature of their audience.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
Assist in solution design, participate in design reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and support defect management and debugging.
Mentor peers, share knowledge, and promote engineering best practices for continuous improvement.
