About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Management Software Engineer as a developer within Wells Fargo Technology, as part of the Commercial Corporate & Investment Bank Technology CRM (Customer Relationship Management) technology team. This team is responsible for developing, building, deploying, and managing integrated solutions for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform. The platform supports multiple lines of business across Wells Fargo. The candidate will provide data management design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of available technologies, tools and designs. In this role, you will: Be part of a scrum team related to moderately complex initiatives and deliverables Design, code, test, debug, and document technology solutions related to Data Management, including upgrades and deployments Implement target Data Architecture Manage the data movement involving implementing the movement and related data governance. Resolve complex issues, including troubleshooting issues and researching existing requirements while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements Adhere to all practices associated coding, unit testing, and automated testing. Participate in activities that support the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as well as post-implementation activities and troubleshooting, if necessary. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve team goals Contribute to large scale planning of strategies Review complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures Act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Relational Databases (Oracle/SQL Server) experience
  • 4+ years maintaining the management of data movement ETL/ELT
  • 4+ years using Microsoft SSIS (or equivalent) including migration to and from SSIS solutions
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Ability to work on call on as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience with Microsoft Synapse
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • Understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Analytic concepts
  • 2+ years of experience communicating complex technical details to non-technical business partners in a collaborative environment
