Job Overview: Build and modernize company’s websites, with a focus on quality, leveraging tools such as Javascript, Typescript, Cypress and Playwright.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology or closely related field
  • 2 years of experience in software engineering or development.
  • Developing web applications
  • Implementing standards and processes for multiple clients and improving process documentation allowing the build of reusable components and front-end libraries
  • Debugging and testing
  • Following industry standards and providing documentation
  • Developing frontend frameworks using AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, BackboneJS and similar languages and technologies
  • Composing and implementing architectural and/or technical briefs
  • Adapting and writing code to render responsive web designs
  • Performing software quality analysis and metric collection for periodic project quality audit
  • Following Agile methodologies
  • Interacting with business and product teams to implement new solutions
  • Utilizing software version control
  • Using and interfacing with database, API technologies to acquire data for FE applications

Responsibilities

  • Build new and enhance existing websites using Javascript, Typescript, AngularJS, ReactJS and similar technologies
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Implement new interfaces to vendor/libraries
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Compose and implement architectural and/or technical briefs
  • Ensure quality using unit tests and automation tests such as Cypress and Playwright
  • Use tools to detect code quality deviations
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers
  • Contribute new ideas to improve software practices and processes
  • Use and interface with database, API, and GraphQL technologies for front-end data acquisition
  • Submit and conduct peer code reviews as part of our DevOps pipeline
