Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of Professional Software development experience.
Proven self-motivated problem solver who can look at a situation, identify gaps or issues, and take initiative to resolve them (technically, with process, and with documentation)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python or other computer languages.
Proficiency with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and practices.
Proficiency with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Development Methodologies
Experience with software testing and debugging tools.
Experience developing on Red Hat Linux or equivalent OS
Experience using version control tools like Git.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and secure software development methodologies
Experience leveraging Generative AI and Machine Learning to improve productivity, collaboration, and performance
Experience with gRPC and Protobufs
Experience with Linux, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, or other RTOS
Familiarity with Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
Domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Radars, EO/IR, EW, Network Communications, Datalinks, Platform Integration, Weapons/Effects (Missiles, Projectiles), Command & Control for Fire Control and Surveillance applications, Multi-Domain Airborne Sensor Fusion and Tracking experience

Responsibilities

Participation on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, employing agile software development techniques and resources to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
Responsible for some or all of a Software product, contributing as a software team member and possibly leading a small software team.
Responsibilities spanning the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support.
