The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and the willingness to undergo a polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • 7 years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure.
  • 5 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
  • Experience with compute technologies, distributed systems or networks.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Security teams inside of Google and Partner, and Customer teams working with us.
  • Develop OS and hardware security features for our product.
  • Design security solutions within the scope of the broader area.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
