Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in cloud automation, with hands-on experience in AWS services (Lambda, ECS Fargate, EventBridge, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch).
  • Proficiency in Java and TypeScript.
  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Ruby).
  • Comfortable with both Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Strong Git skills (checkout, commit, push, pull requests).
  • Experience in Agile/SCRUM environments.
  • CI/CD expertise with Jenkins and pipeline development.
  • Familiarity with hierarchical data formats (JSON, XML, YAML).
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager).
  • Containerization experience (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with AWS CLI, Secrets Manager, and Parameter Store.
  • Integration experience with SOAP and REST APIs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, or IHE exchange.
  • Experience implementing security tools and validation steps in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CloudWatch alarms and automated response actions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with initiative: Research and share emerging trends in DevOps, cloud automation, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Own your impact: Take responsibility for the quality and reliability of your work, validating solutions and continuously improving delivery pipelines.
  • Mentor and collaborate: Guide teams on best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure provisioning, and automation.
  • Challenge and explore: Prototype and evaluate deployment strategies to accelerate cloud delivery while maintaining uptime and integrity.
  • Secure and comply: Partner with Infosec to address infrastructure-level security and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Automate with purpose: Implement Support-driven and Test-driven Development within CI/CD models.
  • Build smart pipelines: Provision CI/CD infrastructure tailored to team needs, enabling seamless build and deployment.
