About the Smart TV Engineering Team Our team is passionate about building high-performance software for Vizio Smart TVs. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and optimizing solutions that power Walmart's Smart TV platforms, helping us stay at the forefront of technology and customer satisfaction.

  • Design, develop, and test embedded software for Smart TV platforms
  • Integrate and optimize video control and processing features across device layers
  • Ensure high quality and performance for diverse video streams and codecs
  • Develop unit and system-level tests using BDD frameworks
  • Mentor and train junior engineers
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of embedded software development experience
  • Expertise in C/C++ (C++17+) and Linux/RTOS-based systems
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with video/audio processing, HAL, and BDD frameworks is a plus
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
