The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Developing advanced analytics solutions for the Solventum healthcare data platform. Working with cross-functional teams to define data needs and integration strategies for scalable analytics. Building data pipelines and algorithms to extract insights from complex healthcare data. Ensuring data quality, security, and regulatory compliance. Evaluating new analytics technologies to improve platform capabilities. Guiding team members in best analytics practices and data-driven decision-making. Translating stakeholder needs into technical solutions to enhance patient outcomes and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Software Development.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED from AND a minimum of nine (9) years of experience in Software Development.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in design and development of enterprise cloud-native solutions.
  • Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, paradigms, and design patterns.
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with SQL databases (preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with statistical methodologies and techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience deploying cloud-native services or applications in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Data APIs, machine learning techniques, and Spark.
  • Experience with projects that require StateRAMP / GovRAMP certification.
  • Experience with AWS cloud development and large-scale, high volume hosted applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub.
  • Proficient with Docker, images, and containers.
  • Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with HL7 and FHIR.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with strong test automation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and information on both an end-user and technical level.
