Position Overview ATLAS SP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help us build proprietary applications and data repositories to support our residential, CRE, and commercial asset finance business. The Senior Software Engineer will be a member of our experienced development team and collaborate with business stakeholders in asset finance to streamline portfolio management, collateral management, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical roles within financial services
• Relevant technical university degree
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with fixed income
• Professional experience in object-oriented programing and relational databases
• Understanding of REST APIs and software design principles
• Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively
• Results oriented and commercial

Nice To Haves

• Experience with mortgages, commercial real estate or commercial loans
• Experience with loan finance and credit markets
• Work experience with digital transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

• Manage a delivery team to design, code, test, and deploy enterprise software to support portfolio management for residential mortgages, commercial real estate, and consumer/commercial loans
• Collaborate with business and development teams to understand requirements, provide transparency, and maintain timelines
• Provide support for vendor and proprietary systems that have been built around our lending data management, portfolio management reporting, and servicing processes
