About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for problem solving, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and collaborate with other engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects. About the team: We work for fashion! It's our responsibility to enhance the Walmart fashion experience. You will own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Software systems in Next.js, React, Graphic QL, and Javascript
  • Strong programming skills in Java programming languages
  • Hands on experience with React is a must
  • Experience in DevOps Activity and Deployments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Good experience in leading complex and working with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using various programming languages and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Work with other engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance and support as needed
