What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior Software Engineer? The Senior Software Engineer develop and maintain database-driven business data solutions applications that support a broad range of business lines, including Fund Accounting, Investment Management, Performance Analytics, Marketing, and Risk and Compliance. What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful? Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent. Must include five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with the following responsibilities, skills and/or tools: Utilizing unit testing frameworks to troubleshoot individual application components; Utilizing application performance monitoring tools and techniques to capture operations analytics and troubleshoot performance issues; Building and maintaining data transformation workflows between internal systems, business partners, and external vendors; Collecting user requirements and creating data flows for application integration using design tools; Developing and maintaining database-driven business applications to support various business lines; Modernizing data management applications and processes for scalability utilizing cloud technologies; Utilizing test driven development approach for data validation and flow across various systems; Utilizing scheduling tools to automate data transformation workflows; and In executing duties, utilizing Oracle PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, Tomcat, jBoss, IIS and WebLogic. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies..
