About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the delivery of scalable software solutions by managing feature implementation, testing, and ongoing support within collaborative teams. About the team: The Walmart Business (B2B) group focuses on delivering innovative solutions that empower businesses and non-profit organizations to achieve their goals. The team leverages Walmart’s extensive fulfillment centers, stores, merchants, and technology to develop business-centric purchasing capabilities, onboarding, marketing, support, and operations. By building scalable and reliable software, the team drives growth in this expanding area. Requirements

Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java.
Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and documentation-based coding practices.
Proven ability to deliver scoped features and models through iterative development and continuous integration.
Skilled in AI/ML integration and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
Demonstrated technical judgment in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
Effective collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Commitment to engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and mentoring peers.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development velocity.
Assist in solution design, participate in design reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and define success metrics.
Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Mentor peers, promote engineering best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : - Stock
