About The Position

We are located in Ann Arbor, MI, and we are looking for a full-time Senior Software Engineer. Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of delivering production systems.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining backend systems, APIs, and data-driven applications (full-stack experience is a must).
  • Comfort working with modern cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
  • A systems-thinking mindset: you consider performance, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and drive work to completion.
  • Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and translating ambiguous requirements into clear technical solutions.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A team-first attitude with a willingness to mentor, learn, and continuously improve.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack systems that support patient care, clinical workflows, and internal operations.
  • Take ownership of complex features and systems from concept through production, including architecture, implementation, testing, and ongoing improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and sales stakeholders to translate real-world needs into reliable solutions.
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and observability across our platforms.
  • Contribute to technical direction, architecture decisions, and long-term platform evolution.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and uphold high engineering standards through reviews and mentorship.
  • Debug production issues and implement durable fixes.
  • Help improve developer workflows, tooling, and processes to increase velocity and quality.
