About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Senior Software Engineer codes software applications based on business requirements. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. You will report to the Director of Data Engineering for CenterWell Tech - Primary Care Organization (PCO) Technology Support team. This is a hybrid position which requires associates to come to the office at least 2 days per week. Office locations will be in one of our Hub sites - Louisville KY, Chicago IL, Baltimore/DC Metro, Boston MA, Atlanta GA, Tampa FL, Boulder/Denver Metro, San Francisco Bay Area CA, Irving or Houston TX. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, Azure infrastructure, and Python/SQL, as well as experience integrating and processing diverse data sources, including APIs and healthcare data platforms such as Athena Health. Working closely with a development team and all aspects of developing an application and getting this application to Production. Stay informed about relevant technology trends and developments including new AI-Assisted coding is highly recommended. Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate well with team members and business counterparts
  • Experience with Snowflake (stored procedures, tasks, batch loading).
  • Familiarity with Azure infrastructure (Key Vaults, Storage Accounts ADLS2).
  • Experience with job orchestration tools, like Prefect or other ETL type tools
  • Advanced skills in Python and SQL.
  • Solid understanding of data structures (JSON, CSV, APIs) and data ingestion techniques.
  • Ability to solicit and incorporate feedback on technical solutions.
  • GIT Hub experience and proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • AI-Assisted coding
  • Experience with Athena EMR, including reading patient charts and working with API endpoints.
  • Proficiency in Databricks ETL development, notebook creation, and job orchestration.
  • Ability to call APIs and manage data extraction processes.
  • Proactive approach to conveying technical issues and risks to stakeholders.
  • Experience in collaborative project planning and milestone tracking.
  • Strong project coordination skills, with experience in breaking down projects and estimating timelines.
