Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend or full-stack systems
• Fluent in Python, AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.), and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Product-minded — think about customer value and user experience as much as technical execution
• Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving startup environments where autonomy and clarity coexist
• Strong understanding of modern architectures (microservices, event-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines)
• Care about building reliable, maintainable systems that scale
• Enjoy working collaboratively across time zones and disciplines

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Python and AWS infrastructure
• Contribute to full-stack features leveraging JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and AI/ML teams to ship customer-impacting features
• Build and maintain scalable, secure APIs that integrate with third-party services
• Take ownership of end-to-end product development — from ideation to production release
• Champion best practices in code quality, system design, and DevOps automation
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of our engineering culture

Benefits

• Base salary: $170,000–$200,000
