Responsibilities
- Develops software solutions by studying information needs and conferring with users.
- Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis and proposed solutions.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions through various documentation methods.
- Prepares and installs solutions by designing system specifications and standards.
- Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes.
- Updates job knowledge by studying development tools and participating in educational opportunities.
- Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Provides information by analyzing and summarizing development issues.
- Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results.
- Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice and coaching.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience with two or more development languages such as Java, C#, or Ruby (Java and .net preferred).
- Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code and comfort with Object-Oriented programming.
- Familiarity with Agile methods, such as Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum, and/or Kanban.
- Ability to influence others and advocate for technical excellence.
- Willingness to travel to client sites to solve business problems.
- Resilience in ambiguous situations and ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
Nice-to-haves
- Working knowledge of cloud technology such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
