About The Position
As a Senior Software Engineer at Maxar, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining high-performance software applications critical to mission success in special operations environments. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced setting, requiring creativity and technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions that operate at mission speed. The team you will join is responsible for managing and evolving a massive on-premise, high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure, processing and re-processing petabytes of data to meet national security needs. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where technical challenges abound, and collaboration with a diverse group of engineers, government leaders, and analysts is essential. You will be expected to quickly learn and troubleshoot the complex computing environment while solving mission-critical technical problems daily. If you thrive under pressure, are a proactive problem-solver, and have experience in large-scale systems design and engineering, this is the role for you.
