About The Position

The next phase of Rippling's Platform focuses on enabling next-generation product development with AI as we scale our product to larger, global organizations. You will build fundamental components that empower engineers and customers to develop software with step function-inducing capabilities. Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience
Expertise in building complex distributed services with high availability and strict SLAs
Experience building large-scale user-facing applications, APIs, and developer tools
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment by identifying areas of impact and independently pursuing them
A track record of influencing and enabling forward-thinking technology decisions across a wide organization
Excellent ability to communicate complex technical ideas with clarity and precision in written and verbal modes

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience in our technology stack- Python, Django, Golang, MongoDB, Kafka, Flink, AWS

Responsibilities

Help create the AI strategy for platform
Lead mission critical projects to build and scale core platform capabilities
Work closely with engineers across the organization to adopt these components to evolve existing products and bring new products to market
Influence architecture, technology selections, and trends of the whole company
Build and grow your engineering skills in different challenging areas and solve hard technical problems
