This role will be based in Mountain View, CA. Come join the Streams IO Reliability Team responsible for maintaining one of the largest Streaming ecosystems on the planet. The LinkedIn Streams IO Reliability Team team is responsible for maintaining LinkedIn's pubsub and stream-processing ecosystem which processes over 50 trillion messages per day (~20PB of data daily) across more than 150 clusters. The streaming platforms are the de facto way of moving data at LinkedIn, powering everything from customer events, database replication and even our internal metrics and log collection. As a member of the Streams IO Reliability Team, you would be you will be a reliability-focused software engineer responsible for driving success of our Pubsub ecosystems, including Kafka, Xinfra, Northguard, and more, to scale to meet LinkedIn's needs. This would also include writing code to automate solutions to new and exciting problems and working closely with our customers across all of LinkedIn Engineering. Key responsibilities include architecture design, acting as team lead, driving craftsmanship through code reviews, and driving the reliability of our systems through complex key technology stack migrations.
