About The Position

The Apple Services Engineering Security team builds and provides secure systems and infrastructure that fuel Apple's services (such as iCloud, Music, Siri, and the App Store). As part of the ASE Security team, you will help define and build the software to meet the security needs of Apple's services around the world. You will build foundational components in a secure way to ensure Apple's infrastructure meets Apple's needs and protects our data. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will play an important role in helping us build solutions to a variety of outstanding security challenges in the software foundational infrastructure. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and build software to meet the security needs of Apple's services.
• Build foundational components in a secure way.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to build and integrate security frameworks, tools, and controls.
• Produce quality software that meets service level objectives.
• Engage in software design, coding, testing, and deploying security services and features.
• Participate in code reviews to help peers meet high standards for infrastructure.
• Conduct research, prototyping, and present ideas and designs to the team, management, and internal customers.
