About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to join a dynamic public sector project in Austin, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex technical initiatives, design innovative automation solutions, and make a measurable impact in a fast-paced Agile environment. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: Design, develop, implement, and maintain RPA solutions using Blue Prism and Microsoft Power Automate. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions. Troubleshoot and validate HTTP responses, ensuring seamless integration with web services and APIs. Work with Azure infrastructure, RESTful web services, and SQL/NoSQL databases to support robust automation workflows. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor team members when needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in RPA development, including 4+ years with Blue Prism.
  • 8+ years in web development (HTML, JavaScript, DOM, HTTP protocol).
  • Strong experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and RESTful web services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice To Haves

  • API development experience (4+ years).
  • Expertise in process discovery, requirements gathering, and solution architecture.
  • Proficiency in C#, Java, or Python.
  • Azure infrastructure troubleshooting (3+ years).
  • Agile development experience (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Certifications: Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform Developer.
  • Prior experience supporting Health and Human Services or OIG projects.
