As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building highly available, scalable systems that support our fast-growing global business. Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, React, and AWS services (SQS, Lambda, EC2, RDS).
  • Strong background in backend APIs and integrations (REST or GraphQL).
  • Solid experience with SQL & NoSQL databases and event-driven systems (queues, iPaaS, event buses).
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, caching, and application security (OWASP Top 10).
  • AWS Certification is a plus.
  • A passion for writing unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS.
  • Knowledge of best practices in coding and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Build high-performing systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred) using event-driven, asynchronous programming frameworks like Node.js.
  • Deliver quality code: design, implement, test, and document maintainable, defect-free software.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: work with product, design, and engineering peers to design and deliver technical solutions.
  • Lead by example: contribute to design reviews, mentor other engineers, and model best practices in coding and communication.
  • Problem-solve in production: debug issues, resolve blockers, and support system stability.
  • Continuously improve: explore new patterns, tools, and techniques while sharing knowledge with your peers.
