Cotiviti, Inc. is seeking Senior Software Engineers for Quality Intelligence in South Jordan, UT. The role involves designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing Cotiviti's Quality Intelligence measurement and reporting software applications and components. The ideal candidate will write modular, secure, and testable code for both back-end and front-end using .Net Core and Angular, and will implement all coded designs with a correct understanding of technical architecture. Participation in regular Program Increment meetings is required to ensure program timing and alignment. The candidate will analyze and resolve software-related issues from internal or external customers, document specifications, design, features, and operations of applications prior to production rollout, and execute solution enhancements to improve software performance and availability. Effective communication of technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership is essential. The role also requires adherence to technology standards during system development, exploration of new ideas for process improvement, and continuous enhancement of knowledge of new technologies integrated into the Cotiviti product suite. The candidate will execute all facets of the Cotiviti software development lifecycle with a focus on continuous improvement, collaborate with senior developers, offshore team members, business owners, project management, and other stakeholders, and mentor other developers.

  • Design, develop, support, and enhance Cotiviti's Quality Intelligence measurement and reporting software applications and components.
  • Write modular, secure, and testable codes for both back-end and front-end using .Net Core and Angular.

  • Execute all appropriate facets of the Cotiviti software development lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor other developers.
  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field plus 5 years of experience designing and developing applications.
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 7 years of experience in designing and developing applications is acceptable.
  • 4 years of experience with the U.S. healthcare industry, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server, Oracle, PrimeNG, Dapper.net, Bamboo, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Agile methodologies.
