  • Design, develop, and implement advanced performance monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics solutions for VMware Cloud Foundation.
  • Utilize machine learning and artificial intelligence to create predictive models and automate performance issue detection and resolution.
  • Contribute to the architecture and evolution of a scalable and resilient performance analytics platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate performance insights into the broader VCF product suite.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance issues across distributed systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • A Masters or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in software development, performance engineering, or data analytics.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and its implementation in large-scale environments.
  • Extensive work experience in production software development, including rigorous testing and performance engineering methodologies.
  • Demonstrated capability to architect and understand complex software solutions across distributed systems.
  • Significant experience working on and contributing to large-scale distributed systems.
  • Solid understanding of CPU, memory, network, and storage hardware and software subsystems and their impact on system performance.
  • Proven exposure to data analytics, machine learning, and statistical analyses, with the ability to apply these techniques to real-world problems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to complex challenges.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
