As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Commercial Lending organization, you will be based in Dallas TX or Pittsburgh PA. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in React for front-end development, heavy API design and integration, and full stack .NET development.

Requirements

Full Stack .NET Development experience, including: C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API
Strong proficiency in React for front-end development.
Extensive experience with API development and integration (RESTful services).
Solid understanding of SQL Server and relational database design.
Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
Certifications are often desired.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full stack .NET applications supporting commercial lending workflows.
Build responsive, dynamic user interfaces using React and modern front-end best practices.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external systems, ensuring scalability and security.
Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Work with SQL Server for database design, optimization, and query development.
Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with banking standards.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.
