You'll work on challenges like: Creating intelligent search and matching systems that surface the perfect candidates from massive talent pools Building AI products that help recruiters create engaging messages and identify promising candidates Implementing systems that automatically extract insights from candidate profiles Designing delightful experiences that make AI accessible and valuable to recruiting teams You'll own these features end-to-end, from conceptualization and prototype to production deployment and iteration.

Requirements

You have experience applying AI/ML in production environments, especially with LLMs
You have hands-on experience with search systems and understand how to optimize relevance and ranking
You have knowledge of vector databases and embedding models for AI applications
You're familiar with RAG architectures (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and their implementation
You're pragmatic about AI implementation, finding the right balance between cutting-edge techniques and practical solutions
You're excited about iterative development and continuously improving based on user feedback
You are energized by collaborating in-office with your peers.

Nice To Haves

Prompt and context engineering skills and experience with LLM fine-tuning
Cross-stack technical versatility with Python, Node, TypeScript, React, and Elasticsearch
Background in information retrieval, NLP, or recommendation systems
Feedback loop implementation for improving search quality
End-to-end product development experience collaborating with product and design teams
Clear communication skills to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Velocity-focused approach with strong ownership from start to finish

Responsibilities

Build products powered by LLMs: Design and implement features that integrate AI capabilities into our product, working across the entire stack from backend to frontend
Develop and optimize intelligent search: Create advanced algorithms for query understanding, result ranking, and candidate recommendations
Ship rapidly and iterate quickly: Take new AI features from concept to production, gathering user feedback and continuously improving
Mentor team members: Share AI expertise with colleagues and help establish best practices (depending on experience level)
Work from our San Francisco office: Collaborate in-person with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create cohesive user experiences
