The Android Toolkit team delivers libraries and tools that help Android developers build apps easily. Our products include Jetpack Compose, a new modern UI Toolkit based on Kotlin and declarative programming, as well as the suite of Architecture Components libraries that help developers build modern Android apps. Our work spans API design, feature implementation, testing infrastructure and more. Team members discuss designs and API choices and help each other succeed. We work closely with UX, UX research and Developer Relations on a daily basis to collaborate with our developer community, as well as with the Android Studio team delivering tools for our libraries.
