About The Position

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of complex software systems. In this role, you will analyze user requirements to derive performance specifications, code new features, and debug existing systems within high-stakes operating environments. You will be responsible for developing sophisticated algorithms, overseeing software development teams, and ensuring all products adhere to strict timing and resource constraints. From implementing database interfaces to coordinating system installations, you will play a pivotal role in the full software development lifecycle. Total compensation for qualified candidates can reach $290k+, depending on experience, position, and applicable customer rates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 14 years in software engineering on programs of similar scope and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (4 additional years of SWE experience may be substituted for a degree).
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with NiFi and Notifier.
  • Experience with GhostMachine Analytics and Portable Map Reduce (PMR) frameworks.
  • Familiarity with the AVP process and representation to AVG.
  • Proficiency with the Atlassian tool suite and GitLab.
  • Ability to serve as a team lead and perform quality control on team products.
  • TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required.
