About The Position

The Senior Software Engineer position at Capital One focuses on back-end development within the Bank Modernization teams. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply).

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
• Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in technology communities.
• Mentor other members of the engineering community.
• Work with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that enhance customer experiences.
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with various AWS tools and services.
