About The Position

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll build and deploy the computational infrastructure that powers Boundless including the compliance infrastructure for onchain finance, enabling transaction confidentiality, role-based access, and selective disclosure, delivered as a fully managed service that deploys across any public blockchain AND the world's largest decentralized proving network, orchestrating ZK proofs across every major blockchain. This role demands strong cloud-native infrastructure skills, with opportunities to go deep on bare-metal and GPU optimization for those interested.

Requirements

• 5+ years of infrastructure/DevOps experience operating large-scale production systems
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration at scale
• Strong proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/GCP), including multi-region and auto-scaling architectures
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi)
• Strong Linux systems administration skills
• Experience releasing complex software, including building and packaging Docker images, binaries, and maintaining distribution channels
• Track record of managing mission-critical, high-throughput systems
• Strong infrastructure-as-code background in heterogeneous environments
• Proficiency in at least one common scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, TypeScript, Go, etc.)
• Candidates must include a public GitHub profile in their application.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GPU computing infrastructure (CUDA, bare-metal optimization, kernel tuning)
• Experience operating cryptocurrency mining or ML training infrastructure at scale
• Familiarity with ZK proof generation or blockchain infrastructure
• Experience with on-premises data center operations
• Knowledge of network optimization and topology design
• Experience with multi-region, globally distributed systems
• Proficiency in Rust or low-level systems programming

Responsibilities

• Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Architect highly available, auto-scaling infrastructure across multiple regions and cloud providers (AWS, GCP), meeting the reliability and compliance guarantees a managed financial service demands
• Multi-Tenant Deployments: Build the infrastructure patterns that let us deploy across any public blockchain our customers operate on, with isolation and security appropriate for regulated environments
• Release Management: Own deployment pipelines and release schedules for customer-facing environments, ensuring zero-downtime upgrades and safe rollouts across production tenants
• Cost Optimization: Implement strategies to minimize infrastructure costs while maintaining performance, including spot instance management, workload placement between on-prem and cloud, and resource scheduling.
