This role involves working on enterprise-grade web applications and APIs, using cutting-edge tools and frameworks to ensure robust, scalable, and reliable releases. This position can be performed from Westlake, TX.

Requirements

At least 10+ years proven experience in QA Engineering and Software Development
Hands-on expertise with Selenium, Junit, Fitnesse, Cucumber and Playwright
Strong understanding of software development principles, coding standards, and design patterns
Experience working with SQL and PLSQL
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and CI/CD workflows
Exposure to BDD frameworks

Nice To Haves

Financial services experience is a plus
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized environments
Passion for automation-first testing and continuous learning

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium/Serenity (Java) and Playwright
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA peers to refine user stories and define test strategies
Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end tests across web applications and APIs
Log, track, and triage defects; work with teams to ensure timely resolution
Participate in sprint ceremonies, product demos, and production deployment verifications
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth integration of automated tests
Support BDD practices and contribute to Gherkin-based test scenarios
