We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Android and iOS mobile app testing and automation. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, ensuring high-quality and reliable mobile applications. This role involves close collaboration with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify and resolve issues early in the development lifecycle. Come join our team!

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in mobile app automation for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks like Appium, Espresso, and XCTest.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, NodeJS, Kotlin, or Swift.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
  • Advises immediate management on project-level issues
  • Guides junior engineers
  • Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
  • Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications.
  • Build and optimize mobile testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing using automation tools.
  • Identify, analyze, and report bugs, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and best practices.
