We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Android and iOS mobile app testing and automation. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, ensuring high-quality and reliable mobile applications. This role involves close collaboration with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify and resolve issues early in the development lifecycle. Come join our team! Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles. Your day-to- day Own the testing for our products and features. Define and implement the overall testing strategy and methodologies for the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and software development goals. Lead the design and development of advanced automated testing frameworks and tools that can scale and adapt to various projects and technologies. Collaborate with engineering leadership to integrate quality assurance processes early in the software development lifecycle. Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices, ensuring automated tests are efficiently integrated and executed in deployment pipelines. Serve as a thought leader in software testing, mentoring and guiding SDET and QE teams, and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Conduct research on emerging technologies, tools, and processes in software testing; evaluate and recommend their adoption to keep the organization at the forefront of quality assurance practices. Lead root cause analysis for complex bugs and issues, working with development teams to ensure long-term solutions are implemented. Create and implement test automation code in a collaborative environment Leverage your peers as multipliers for your skills to create excellent products and services for Venmo users Make frequent contributions to our testing framework Build tools to support automated testing, load testing, and performance testing

Requirements

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3+ yrs. of experience in Backend Testing
• Expertise in multiple programming languages and automation frameworks.
• Fluent in working on command line and working with databases.
• Demonstrated leadership in designing and implementing testing strategies and automation solutions on a large scale.
• Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
