Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph through Fort Meade Customer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 11 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation.
  • Strong software development experience using multiple programming languages, such as Java and Python.
  • Experience integrating applications with cloud-based data systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a lab or experimental environment while collaborating effectively with technical and mission stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting analytic, research, or experimentation-focused missions.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, data analytics tools, or cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience evaluating open-source and emerging technologies for mission applicability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software capabilities intended to address common challenges across multiple analyst organizations.
  • Support prototype development efforts to extend enterprise services, enable advanced analytics, enhance machine learning workflows, and support commercial cloud solutions.
  • Install, configure, develop, and integrate prototype applications within a lab environment for technical evaluation and experimentation.
  • Integrate prototype and experimental applications with customer cloud-based data systems and services.
  • Support the evaluation and integration of open-source software, emerging technologies, and new commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications.
  • Collaborate directly with customers, developers, and data scientists to gather technical requirements, refine solutions, and incorporate user feedback.
  • Provide technical expertise to support testing, troubleshooting, and refinement of experimental capabilities.
  • Document designs, configurations, and findings to support transition or further development efforts.
