The Role As a Senior Software Engineer II, you’ll lead multi-component projects, act as a technical leader on your team, and influence adjacent teams. You’ll own architecture and testing strategies, drive systemic reliability improvements, and mentor engineers beyond your immediate group.

Requirements

Expert in a primary language, competent in two or more others.
Advanced proficiency with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
Strong experience designing APIs and distributed systems.
Mastery of testing best practices and quality standards.
7+ years of professional software development experience.
Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of multi-service features and systems.
Define and enforce testing strategies across the stack.
Act as incident commander for medium-severity production incidents.
Author postmortems and drive systemic fixes.
Serve as technical lead for projects, aligning cross-functional partners.
Mentor and sponsor engineers across teams.
Deliver initiatives that improve predictability, throughput, and system resilience.
