About The Position

Create the future of e-health together with us by becoming a Senior Software Engineer I At CompuGroup Medical we have the mission of building ground-breaking solutions for digital healthcare. Your Contribution: Design, build, and operate secure, reliable, performant platform services and RESTful APIs used across products; own outcomes from design through production in a Scrum environment. Lead and contribute to architecture and technical decisions; define clear interface contracts; balance scalability, performance, operability, and cost; manage technical debt intentionally. Raise quality through tests, code reviews, debugging/profiling, and observability; collaborate with QA on automation; resolve defects across application and database layers. Coordinate deployments and light operations on Windows Server/IIS and SQL Server (configuration, smoke checks, logs); collaborate with IT/operations. Use AI assisted development tools responsibly (e.g., Copilot, code search, test generation, agentic workflows) to accelerate delivery while maintaining code quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience with Microsoft .NET and C#, including designing/building REST APIs
  • Strong SDLC, CI/CD, and production operations knowledge
  • MS SQL Server proficiency: T‑SQL, relational data modeling (link tables, master‑detail), appropriate indexing, and performance tuning basics
  • Frontend fundamentals: HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Expertise using debugging and profiling tools
  • Awareness of secure coding and secrets handling best practices
  • Proficiency with Git
  • Clear written and verbal communication for design docs and rationale

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Angular or an equivalent framework is a plus
  • SVN familiarity in legacy/migration contexts is a plus
