Requirements

• Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Experience in mentoring or teaching other engineers.
• Demonstrated initiative and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Run projects autonomously or without substantial oversight.
• Iron out the vagaries of requirements and break problems down into tractable pieces.
• Implement each piece successfully with minimal hand-holding.
• Take initiative and demonstrate ownership of work by driving quality improvements.
• Resolve pages or CritSits and follow through on commitments.
• Provide regular and proactive updates on work status.
• Mentor or teach other engineers on the team or in related product areas.
• Participate in the interview process to hire the best candidates.
