About The Position

In this role, you will contribute to building and enhancing innovative software solutions for a global user base, focusing on localization and internationalization. You will work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features that leverage AI technologies. Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping and maintaining production software
• Strong proficiency in fullstack JavaScript/TypeScript technologies, including React, Node.js, Postgres, and Docker
• Experience with backend development, event-driven architectures, and modern software engineering practices
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining high-quality results

Nice To Haves

• experience with AI/ML components, LLM or generative models, AWS services (S3, SNS, SQS, Bedrock), OpenAI, or Python
• Awareness of ethical considerations in AI and software development

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and improve existing ones with an emphasis on code quality, performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet user needs
• Participate in defining application architecture and implementing best practices across the codebase
• Mentor and review work of junior engineers to ensure high standards and team growth
• Contribute to incident response processes and participate in on-call rotations to maintain platform reliability
• Focus on delivering value to users quickly and iteratively, prioritizing outcomes over effort
