About The Position
At BAE Systems, you will be part of a team that works on the world's most advanced electronics, contributing to projects that range from saving emissions in urban environments to powering the Mars Rover and protecting the F-35 fighter jet. This position is within the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions team, where you will help develop systems that sense, control, exploit, and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. The GXP Platform, a multi-tiered commercial product, is at the heart of our operations. It features a JavaScript-based web client running on Node.js, a middle tier implemented with Java, and a data tier that leverages both NoSQL and traditional SQL data sources. Your daily tasks will include design, coding, testing, and conducting code reviews. This role requires US citizenship due to government contract stipulations. The work format is hybrid, allowing for a combination of collaborative in-person and independent remote work, providing flexibility while you contribute to significant projects.
