In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of the Gemini Enterprise mobile application itself both for iPhone Operating System and for Android as well as its interconnected backend systems, ensuring seamless functionality and robust performance across the entire stack. You will be instrumental in driving innovation and best practices within the team, contributing to all phases of the Software Development Life-cycle, from conception and design to deployment and ongoing support. Your expertise will directly influence the architectural decisions and technical direction of our mobile offerings, making a huge impact on the rapidly growing user base of Gemini Enterprise.

The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with mobile development.
• Experience with backend development.
• Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, ObjC, Swift).

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Experience with Gen AI and AI Chatbots.
