As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer on our growing team, you'll develop new features, reinforce our technical foundation, and build off a unique flow-based calculation engine.
Collaborating with a small-but-mighty group of engineers with a wide array of backgrounds and areas of expertise.
Implementing new product functionality from start to finish in consultation with product managers: generating your own tech plan, reporting on progress, and building tests + end-customer validation as you go.
Consulting with customer facing teams and our customers themselves to solve unique problems and find out where our product should grow next.
Utilizing AI tools (we mostly use Cursor and Claude Code!) to improve your process and efficiency.
Writing performant Typescript and Python code across our stack
Implementing the logic behind the steps that make up Parabola flows, as well as genericizing shared logic.
Optimizing our services for scalability, stability, and observability as our customer base grows and our product becomes more sophisticated.
Helping our team define processes and practices that will serve us for years of growth and success.
You have 5+ years of full-stack experience working in a team-based, high-uptime, continuously-delivered codebase.
You're not afraid to ask for help, and you're happy to give it, too.
You care about the craft of engineering, and you're dedicated to making sure your work is stable, secure, and maintainable.
You're an enthusiastic communicator who can join a large team, or bring your own self-direction on smaller teams that have less product direction.
You have experience with relational databases, REST APIs, and OOP principles.
Experience working with AI/LLMs professionally--either building an AI-powered tool or using AI tools to augment your work/impact
You're excited to join a hybrid team and work out of our SF or NYC office ~3 days a week.
