About The Position

The Factory Platform team builds a wide array of software across Relativity's manufacturing and test process. This includes our in-house ERP software, telemetry data ingestion and storage systems, applications for data visualization and analysis, enterprise data warehousing, and other tools that our engineers and operators work with on a daily basis. This team works with almost every discipline across the company, including design engineers, manufacturing and process engineers, to supply chain and inventory teams, and more. If you're interested in building world-class tools and services for small groups of expert power-users, bridging the gap between software and nearly every other engineering discipline, and in learning how a rocket is manufactured from initial designs all the way through launch, this is the team for you.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related Engineering field (Computer, Software, Electrical, Aerospace).
• 7+ years of experience building, shipping, and iterating on multiple apps and services in your career so far.
• Experience designing in collaboration with non-software stakeholders.
• Proficient in whatever languages and tools you love most, and willing to learn new ones.
• Expert in front-end frameworks (React) and related tools.
• Passionate about mentoring and growing the engineers around you.

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing and scaling service architectures that support high-performance front-end operations.
• Experience with systems-level programming like synchronization primitives, memory management, etc.
• Demonstrated experience developing low-latency, safety-critical front-ends.
• Experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span platforms and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications used to plan and schedule purchasing and manufacturing operations, access and analyze engine and component test data, and several other tools used by engineers and operators across the company.
• Follow agile development practices and implement quality software that is continuously integrated and deployed.
• Solve complex problems with simple solutions. Work directly with users and stakeholder teams to figure out system requirements, implement the solutions, and iterate.
