At VerticalScope, we are reimagining the future of online communities. This is a great opportunity for an energetic Senior Software Engineer to join a talented team to maintain and improve RateMds.com. This role requires a blend of expertise in backend and frontend software development using Python and React.js. You will refactor our legacy codebase while shipping exciting new features. You will report to the Director of Engineering in a flat organization and collaborate with seven engineers in a close-knit team. As Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with our engineers, product managers, and a designer to help improve our user experience and grow our business. The position is remote from Canada. You can work anywhere in Canada except Quebec. This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-focused public company with a startup mentality.
