About The Position

Position Summary: At EverDriven, we believe in self-empowered teams and developers that can take a product from concept to delivery. We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to build elegant and intuitive user interfaces for our applications. This person will contribute to our Web Portals that support internal and external users as they work to safely transport students. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-quality, innovative, and user-friendly products and can iterate rapidly. You’ll get the chance to own and build out multiple core capabilities for the product and be a driving force behind the evolution of our product. Salary Range: $140,000- $155,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential Location - Greenwood Village, CO. Hybrid role

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and React (including hooks, context API, and state management libraries like Redux or Recoil).
  • Experience implementing Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns and integrating with backend APIs efficiently.
  • Proven track record in designing frontend solutions for scalable applications.
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns
  • Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
  • Ability to work across environments and teams.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and Implement Frontend Solutions
  • Design scalable, modular, and maintainable frontend architectures.
  • Ensure code quality through consistent application of design patterns, SOLID principles, and modern development practices.
  • Feature Development & Optimization
  • Take full ownership of features and projects from concept to release, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Lead the implementation of complex features using React and TypeScript.
  • Optimize performance for high-traffic and data-intensive applications.
  • Ownership & Delivery
  • Maintain a strong focus on delivering value to users quickly and iteratively without compromising quality.
  • Balance technical excellence with pragmatic decision-making to meet delivery timelines.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
  • Ensure that all code is designed with testability in mind, making it straightforward to apply unit, integration, or end-to-end testing as needed.
  • Advocate for patterns and practices that lead to predictable, maintainable, and easily testable codebases.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship
  • Partner closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to skill development within the team.
  • Process & Standards
  • Define and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and CI/CD processes.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain technical excellence across the team.
