The team works on integrating IoT devices into the Samsung SmartThings platform. With the exponential growth of IoT devices over the past few years, we are building a dynamic platform to support these directly connected Audio/Video devices to make it easier for these devices to work with the SmartThings platform. We primarily use JVM technologies and a mix of the latest AWS service offering including EC2 and Kubernetes. We're looking for a skilled Software Engineer with a passion for cloud technologies and a desire to work on a large-scale, consumer-facing platform. In this role, you'll develop and maintain the services that connect our camera devices to SmartThings, using AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB. Experience with distributed systems, AV streaming technologies, and supporting production-level cloud services is highly desired, as is strong API design and development experience.
