About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer in Microsoft Azure’s OneFleet team, you will help build out hyperscale solutions to solve the most pressing problem – how to add and manage capacity in a fully automated fashion that works across multiple clouds. You will perform full-stack, though emphasis on backend, engineering in order to support new types of capacity, everything from AI to supercomputing. Your software will run on many millions of machines to provide the heartbeat of the cloud. This opportunity will allow you to hone your engineering skills, architect at a global scale, and drive the national security mission of the US government. This opportunity allows a hybrid work environment wherein you can work part of the time from home. It is possible to be almost fully remote except for work being done in the secure spaces as required for the US government clouds.

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering, particularly in backend development.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and capacity management.
• Ability to work in a hybrid or remote environment.
• Understanding of national security requirements for cloud services.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hyperscale cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of AI and supercomputing technologies.
• Previous work with government cloud services.
