Our work is deeply rooted in cutting-edge machine learning, where we develop and deploy sophisticated ML models essential for automated content review and policy enforcement. We help them seamlessly adapt content to local customs and regulations, preventing restrictions and ensuring a global reach for their work. Our efforts ensure the Roblox platform remains compliant with evolving regulations across all markets. You'll also contribute to our Content Policy Platform, empowering teams across Roblox to add and manage content access policies that are vital to our platform's integrity and safety.

Requirements

• 6+ years building highly available, large-scale distributed backend systems.
• 6+ years delivering and maintaining production software for large-scale applications.
• Experience in Go, Java, C#, or similar OOP languages with strong design principles
• Excellent cross-team collaboration skills and a strong drive to complete projects.
• A curious and proactive approach to learning new technologies and developing your technical skills.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture and development of our Content Policy Platform, a high-throughput service handling millions of requests per second for content access decisions across the Roblox platform.
• Work hand-in-hand with ML engineers, directly contributing to the development, productionization, and ongoing enhancement of machine learning models. These models play a critical role in automatically reviewing Content Maturity questionnaires and detecting regional policy violations at scale across millions of experiences.
• Take ownership of projects from concept to deployment, ensuring high quality, reliability, and scalability.
