We are looking for a Software Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure) to join Nuro's growing Infrastructure team.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in the ambiguity of a dynamic, start-up environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Software development skills, preferably in Python or Go.
• Experience developing in a public cloud environment.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience building, scaling, and maintaining production systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field or 3+ years of equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Cloud/hybrid networking experience.
• Software architecture experience.
• Experience in deploying and managing large distributed applications (e.g. with Kubernetes and ArgoCD).
• Experience designing and building observability systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and work cross-functionally amongst teams at Nuro to align on customer needs.
• Build high-quality and scalable solutions for infrastructure-as-code, application deployment, production system monitoring, health status tracking, and performance improvements.
• Build automation to improve developer experience, infrastructure reliability, and security.
